Excellent points and much to consider by libraries wanting to meet their community's needs.

Researching Communities to Prepare for the Future is another resource to help libraries mirroring the community. The Researching Communities to Prepare for the Future study interviewed over 140 residents in 15 communities across Illinois, to discover what communities want from their libraries in the future.

The study is posted on WebJunction Illinois, http://il.webjunction.org/researching-communities
